More than 300 people came to attend the event, which included a book signing, lecture and question and answer session. Author Metaxas illuminated both his own history as writer, and that of Bonhoeffer, with wit, and at turns, poignancy.

A $25 ticket price made this an especially accessible event, fitting in with Town Hall’s goal of increasing educational opportunities across Southwest Florida. Programming of this caliber for an affordable ticket price would not have been possible without the generous support from our sponsors, who helped underwrite the evening.
