Among the day's interviews was Rick Borman, president and producer of Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series. Although some may know him best for his dire political predictions, conservative radio talk show host Glenn Beck told a Naples audience Saturday night that the time is ripe for citizens to reclaim a sense of empowerment.
"The world is about to change," he said, referring to Internet technology. "We are on the precipice of something as exciting and full of opportunity as the Industrial Revolution."
The initial speaker in this season's Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series, Beck addressed a crowd of approximately 1,100 under a massive tent on the grounds of the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort at Tiburon in North Naples.
Rick Borman, President and Producer of Naples Town Hall, recently appeared on "Wink-TV News Now This Morning." Interviewed by the show's co-host Rob Spicker, Rick highlighted Naples Town Hall's 2012 Speaker Sereis and its mission of promoting healthy dialogue on a variety of topics. Bret Baier, anchor of Fox News Channel’s “Special Report with Bret Baier,” will host a special event for the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series on Saturday, Feb. 25, at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.

He will take the stage on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, as part of the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speakers Series.
The organizers promise a “revealing evening of unique insight into the heart and mind” of Beck, as he talks with Eric Metaxas, his friend and a New York Times best-selling author.
Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series presents New York Times best-selling author Eric Metaxas at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 6, at the Summit Church Auditorium in Estero.
Mr. Metaxas’ newest book, “Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy” is the first major biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in more than 40 years. Through love letters and coded messages sent to and from Cell 92, the narrative takes readers through Mr. Bonhoeffer’s life journey as he left the safety of America for Hitler’s Germany in 1939. He was executed in a concentration camp in 1945, only hours before the Allied victory, for his involvement in the attempted plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series announced that Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State (2005-2009) is the first speaker confirmed for the 2012 series. She is scheduled to speak March 20, 2012.
“Naples Town Hall has presented over 100 world-class speakers in our 28 year history and Condoleezza Rice is a natural addition to that distinguished list,” said Rick Borman, President and Producer of the Town Hall Series. “She will bring a unique perspective on events that have impacted us on every level.”
